Pillars of Pursuit

  1. Craftsmanship: Honing skills to build a better world, one project at a time.
  2. Artistry: Capturing nature’s beauty through my lens.
  3. Humanism: Championing the rights and dignity of all, especially in our digital realm.
  4. Natural Philosophy: Studying and protecting our environment.

I’m Everett, a high school senior with a passion for making the world a better place, one project at a time. I believe in the power of diverse knowledge and skills to create meaningful change.

“The Forge” symbolizes a place of creation, transformation, and hard work. I do a bit of lots of things and then I have driven deeply into several skills, actions, and projects.

I am a conservationist, creative problem-solver, and advocate for the marginalized, wanting to use my leadership experience, diverse skills (that’s a nice way to say “lots of random interests and skills”), and passion for community service to making change.

I took this picture and altered it showing what being low vision can look like. What YOU see is on the right. What I see is on the left.

Looking Out for the Marginalized

As someone with low vision, I’ve learned to see the world from a unique perspective. This challenge has only fueled me to make a difference and show that limitations are often just invitations . . . for innovation.

. . . blending the wisdom of the past

with the urgency of the present

to forge a brighter future . . .

Squad Goals and Epic Rolls

Life is an epic quest with friends! I like hanging with my friends, gaming, cooking, playing in creeks, beating my challengers at chess, and finding exuses to not clean my room . . . lots of wild adventures and the occasional mishap.
